How It All Began....



How It All Began... We are Lauren O’Connell and Jennifer Sutton. Both friends and colleagues, we’re goal-oriented career women. Lauren, with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, is the proud mother of one son.  Jennifer, a master's Degree graduate in early childhood education, is the proud mother of four and grandmother of 5. We have spent the last 15 years working together to help make Kids Kampus the amazing learning environment it is and as the original owners made the hard decision to retire, we knew it was our time to step up and continue the legacy. 


The Result... 

Lauren decided to purchase Kids Kampus and together we would take on running the center. For us, the answer to the quality vs. cost question was rather simple... we’re not a big corporate conglomerate out to become wealthy.  It was our goal to develop a program where we would feel safe placing our children.  In turn, you as parents can feel comfortable that your child is being cared for by early childhood professionals in a stimulating environment.  We pay our teachers competitive wages and provide them with benefits to ensure long-term employer/employee relationships.  This is crucial to the stability and happiness of your children, as they will grow to develop a tremendous bond with their childcare provider. 

We have a complete open-door policy and invite you to visit our center to see it as it runs every day and not prepared for you.

We are Denise Pannier and Jackie Dudas. Both friends and business partners, we're goal oriented career women. Jackie, a master's degree graduate in early childhood education, is proud mother of Stephen and Shaina. Denise, also with a degree in early childhood education, is proud mother of Dylan and Madisyn. We both have experience teaching preschoolers, and Denise was co-owner and director of Wee Care Children's Center in Tomah, WI.

Since taking over have choosen to uphold the standards of the original owners of Kids Kampus. We may not be as inexpensive as some chain centers or home-care settings, but we're certainly not as expensive as other daycares in corporate settings (i.e., compare infant rates to as much as $1,700/month). We pay our teachers above market standards and provide them with benefits to ensure long-term employer/employee relationships. This is crucial to the stability and happiness of your children, as they will grow to develop a tremendous fondness toward their childcare provider.
